The Name - Dangerous Times

I am finally back. Last night I found The Name on CD. I actually just got the Vinyl this month too. So this video is worth posting. Great band and one of the best songs ever. Have a Happy New Year and I hope 2010 will be better than 2009 and that we all won't be living in "Dangerous Times".

Alphaville - Dance With Me

I just saw some guy named Mr Hudson (featuring Jay-Z) did a cover of Alphaville's classic hit "Forever Young" which is just horrible. I wish people would leave great songs from the 80's alone. So it made me want to post another great song by Alphaville. So many people just know them for the one song. Such a great band!

Peter Godwin - Images of Heaven

I finally found some Peter Godwin on Vinyl tonight. I've only heard this song from a New Wave comp so I am looking forward to hearing the rest of his album. I sampled some of it and sounded great.

Icehouse - Cross The Border

Played this last night at my DJ gig. Love this song and band. Just ignore the mullet. He has amazing vocals. This band had one hit in the US with some song they wrote with Hall from Hall & Oates but its not my favorite song. I love the album "Measure for Measure", my favorite album by them. I've always thought Iva Davies wanted to be a little like Michael Hutchence. Icehouse is an Aussie band. Iva was never that sexy but his voice is. He does kind of look like Tim from INXS though. I imagine Iva hates being compared to INXS. However, you can't help it...

The Snake Corps - Look East For Eden

I was wanting to post "In Flux" but they didn't make a video for it and I saw this and thought well this is a great song too. Another band under the radar from London. They really made some great dark gloomy music.
